18 Free Apps For Your Next Outdoor Vacation

Smartphones have become attached to everyone’s hip, why not put them to use on your next trip. These are some great apps that will get you to your destination with sanity intact.


1. Waze – The Navigation Network


Waze is a navigation app that allows its users to input traffic information such as construction, wrecks, rush hour, or speed traps and will warn or redirect you if that is not the best route for you to take.

Gorillacam allows you to shoot time delay photos, stop motion video, but my favorite feature is it’s photo timer. I can just prop my iPhone up on the branch of a tree and snap a photo.
