Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland Light Show

With over 1600 individual lights synchronized with music, this is one festive show you won’t want to miss! Plus, they support charitable non-profits, which is an extra way to give back this season. Shows run all month long until December 31st.

Holly Jolly Christmas Trolley Tour

This tour travels through downtown Asheville, Biltmore village, and the historic Montford and Grove Park neighborhoods. The trolley tour includes holiday lights and sights, local holiday tradition stories, and classic Christmas carols. Tours run from the 13th and end on December 27th.

Lake Julian Festival of Lights

This drive-through experience is perfect for the family, showcasing animated and stationary light displays in the park. A portion of proceeds is also donated to Buncombe County Special Olympics. The experience ends on the night of December 23rd.

Christmas at Biltmore is filled with many festive activities! Candlelight celebrations, daytime events, and even an illuminated village will guarantee to put you in the Christmas spirit. These run on select evenings until January 9th.

Great Smoky Mountains Railroad: Polar Express

A holiday classic comes to life in this adventure! It includes a journey to the North Pole, complete with hot cocoa, a Christmas treat, storytime, and a visit with Santa. Don’t miss out on this special train ride, which runs all month long!

Chimney Rock Park: Winter Break Animal Encounters

If you’re looking for an educational element during your trip, this animal encounter is a great choice. Not only will you get to explore Chimney Rock Park, but you and your family will learn about the wildlife there, and how they help the ecosystem! Tickets are included with park admission, and available dates are between the 27th through the 31st.

Winter Wonderland at Grove Arcade

The Grove Arcade isn’t just a place for fun, family-friendly games! This month, they’re offering holiday glass-blowing on select nights. It’s the perfect chance to create your own special Christmas ornament!
