South Walton County Outdoor Destination Adds Improvements
April 11, 2012
Freeport, Fla. – Live Oak Landing, an RVC Outdoor Destination, has finished the construction of several new additions to its resort to give their guests an even better outdoor recreation experience.
“I’m very excited to have completed the construction of these features and give even more value to our guests. Live Oak Landing is already a very unique concept of a gorgeous natural area, upscale amenities, and multiple accommodations all tied together, so these improvements just amplify the property and further establish that we’re an amazing vacation place,” said Neil Sorrell, General Manager. New additions to the property include a screened saline swimming pool with an observation deck on the back side of the pool with lounge chairs, cocktail tables and a shaded area; a 1,450 sq. ft. air-conditioned area in the pavilion; children’s jungle gym; a motorboat for fishing and boating; and 39 additional RV sites with 12 of those being water-view sites that face Black Creek and the canal. Live Oak Landing is an RVC Outdoor Destination located on Black Creek in South Walton County, and the only overnight lodging option in the city of Freeport. Accommodation choices are modern RV sites with cable, city water, sewer, and 100 amp service at every site, or furnished RVC Resort Cottages. Guests to the property enjoy not only the natural serenity of “Old Florida”, but amenities such as free Wi-Fi; concierge service; a private boat ramp and dock; bicycle and electric scooter rentals; boat, canoe and kayak rentals; and a large, contemporary activities pavilion.
