Where are you located?
Our address is 18717 Barefoot Way, Gulf Shores AL 36542. Remember that the best way to find us on GPS is by using Google Maps. We are so new that not all GPS systems have caught up. You can also use Google Maps to check out our location. Please reach out if you have any additional questions.
How close is Gulf Shores RV Resort to the beach?
- Public Beach – 7.2 miles
- Lulu’s Restaurant – 4.9 miles
- Gulf Shores Sports Complex/Sportsplex – 2.1 miles
- Tanger Outlet Mall – 7.2 miles
- Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo – 3.1 miles
When is check-in/check-out?
Check-in is at 1PM CST for RV; and 4PM CST for Cottages.
Check-out is at 11AM CST for all guests, regardless of accommodation.
What is your cancellation policy?
We offer our “Peace of Mind” rate, which, with 72-hours notice prior to your arrival, is fully refundable less and less than a 10% cancellation fee except during holiday periods. In addition, we also offer our “Best Available” rate, which is set in stone with no changes or cancellations. You will be given the option to choose between the two rates at the time of booking.
What are your rates?
You can find our Nightly Rates here. Simply input the dates you would like to stay, the information about the type and size of your RV, and the number of Adults and Children in your party. Then select any one of our six (6) Site Types and you will see the amount displayed for your stay.
Can I make reservations now?
Yes, you can make reservations online 24 hours per day. If you would prefer to speak directly to the resort or one of our knowledgeable Reservations Specialists, you can call the telephone number listed at the top of our website.
Is there a minimum night stay requirement?
Only during holidays, there is a 3-night minimum and all reservations are non-refundable: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day.
Do you have to pay the deposit in full?
Yes, we require deposits be paid in full prior to arrival for long-term stays. For short-term stays, your reservation will be paid in full and we do not require a deposit.
Do you offer monthly rates?
Yes, we do offer monthly RV site rates for both the Summer and Winter Seasons. Our Monthly rates are based on 28 day period. Monthly rates cannot be booked online. We require a background check for each adult.

Do monthly rates have to start on a specific day of month?
We can be flexible! They can start anytime of the month.
Do you offer annual rates?
Unfortunately, we do not offer annual rates but if you are planning on staying an extended period of time, we offer special rates for these stays as previously mentioned.
Do you have a maximum length of stay?
We don’t implement a maximum length of stay, however, after 6 months, we ask that you renew the terms.
Do you have a pricing sheet on your website?
No, we do not. We offer dynamic pricing which updates in real-time. You can reserve a spot online at 24/7 online, or Monday-Friday 8am-5pm CST by calling (251) 244-1015.
Do you offer discounts?
We strive to offer a fair price for a premium product, and therefore do not offer discounts. If you are interested in staying for an extended period of time, we offer special rates for these stays.
Do you sell spaces?
We do not sell spaces at the moment.
Why can't I pick my site? / Can I pay to pick my site?
In order to provide plenty of space for all of our guests, we do not allow you to select a specific site number. If you have a specific area in mind or if you are traveling with others, please call us at (251) 244-1015 and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
How do I request a specific site or area?

Can I bring up a tent or pop up camper?
No. We are sorry, but additional tents or pop up campers are not allowed on the RV sites.
Do you offer RV storage?
No, we do not.
Is there an RV age requirement?
We have a policy about rigs that are 10 years older or newer, but we make an exception if you send us a picture. Please let us know if you want a reservation specialist to contact you.
Can multiple RVs book and be in sites near each other?
Yes, we can accommodate this amount of RVs and get everyone in the same area. The key to making this request happen is to book early. Please send us a direct message with the dates you wish to reserve and your phone number. We will call you promptly.
Are you affiliated with Thousand Trails?
Hi! We are not apart of the Thousand Trail’s pass but if you book directly with RVC, we will even to you a 15% discount if you are a member. However, there are certain blackout dates that you cannot use the discount such as holidays.

How large are your RV Sites?
All of our RV sites are big rig friendly and can accommodate any length of RV with ample room for a tow vehicle.

- Distance between sites – 20’ between you and your neighbors
How much space between RV sites?
Most of our sites have a minimum of 23 ft between each site.
Do the RV sites have grills/picnic tables?
Yes, our RV sites come complete with a picnic table, grill and fire pit.
Can I bring my own grill?
Yes, you can bring your own grill.
Are bed linens included?
Bed linens and towels are included with stays in our Cottages and are not included with RV stays.
What is up the stairs in a cottage?
There is a loft upstairs with a queen sized bed. It is great for kids.
Do you have a dump station?
All of our RV sites include a sewer for dumping.
Are your cottages handicap accessible?
Unfortunately, our cottages aren’t handicap-accessible at the moment but will be in the future.

When are the pool and hot tub open?
The pool and hot tub are open year round.
Is the pool heated?
Our pool is heated and able to be enjoyed year round.
Do you have Pickleball Courts?
Our RV resort will feature two (2) professionally designed Pickleball Courts per the Standards of the International Pickleball Association.
Can you rent pickleball equipment?
Yes, we have pickleball equipment free for guests to use. We just ask that you return it when you’re finished.
Is there a trolley service nearby?
No there is no local trolley stop nearby, but Uber/Lyft/Local Taxi services are available.
If we don't have a car, is there any shuttle service that can get us to the beach?
Not at this time.
Do you have a propane refill station?
Yes, we do have a propane station at the resort that is available during our office hours.
Is your pond catch and release? Do I need a license?
Yes and no, you do not.
Are there alligators?
Yes, but it is very uncommon to come in contact with one.
Can I bring my own golf cart?
Yes, guests may bring one golf cart per RV site. We just ask that no one under the age of 18 without a driver’s license drives them on property and that you stay on the paved roads.
Can I bring my ATV?
Gulf Shores is Side by Side Friendly. If you can send us a picture of your ATV we will be happy to give you an opinion as to whether or not we will accept it. All vehicles must be used on paved surfaces only. Only drivers that are the age to have a state-issued driver’s license are allowed to operate a golf cart or similar vehicle.
Do you have bike trails on-site?
While we do not have direct access to bike trails, our guests do enjoy riding their bikes through our resort and into the adjacent neighborhood.
We have even had some very adventurous guests that have ridden from our resort to the beach.
