Security Deposit

A $100 refundable security deposit will be authorized prior to check-in and released after checkout once the cottage has been inspected and confirmed free of damage, excessive cleaning needs, missing items, or policy violations.

Cottage Care & Damages

Guests are responsible for the condition of the cottage and all furnishings during their stay. Any damage to walls, furniture, fixtures, appliances, décor, or other cottage property may result in repair or replacement charges deducted from the security deposit. Missing items (including kitchenware, linens, décor, electronics, or furnishings) will result in replacement charges.

Cleaning Expectations

• Cottages should be left in reasonable condition upon departure.
• Excessive cleaning beyond standard turnover may result in additional charges.
• Examples include, but are not limited to:
• Bodily fluids requiring specialized cleaning
• Stained or damaged bedding, linens, mattresses, or furniture
• Excessive trash or food left behind
• Deep cleaning due to odors or misuse
• Bedding and linens that require replacement due to stains, damage, or contamination may be charged to the guest.

Pet Policy

• Maximum of one (1) pet per cottage
• Pets must weigh 25 lbs. or less
• Pet washing, bathing, or grooming inside cottages is prohibited
• Guests are responsible for any pet-related damage or additional cleaning fees.

Check-Out Policy

• Guests must vacate the cottage by the designated check-out time.
• Late check-out is not permitted unless approved in advance by management.
• Unauthorized late departures may result in additional fees.
• Management reserves the right to assess charges beyond the security deposit if damages, missing items, or cleaning costs exceed the deposit amount.
