1. Dollywood & Dollywood’s Splash Country

This iconic theme park is a must-visit for families. With thrilling roller coasters, live entertainment, and plenty of kid-friendly rides, there’s something for every age. If you’re visiting in the summer, the adjacent Splash Country water park is the perfect way to cool off.

2. The Island in Pigeon Forge

The Island in Pigeon Forge is a fun, walkable entertainment complex with rides, shops, and restaurants. Kids will love the giant Ferris wheel, arcade, and ropes course, while parents can relax by the dancing fountains.

3. Titanic Museum 

It’s been over a hundred years since the infamous shipwreck, but the story of the Titanic still captivates millions. Step aboard a replica of the infamous ship at the Titanic Museum and explore hands-on exhibits designed to bring history to life. Kids can try to balance on a sloping deck, touch an iceberg, and sit in a lifeboat.

4. WonderWorks

A mix between a museum and an indoor amusement park, WonderWorks is full of interactive exhibits that make learning fun. Learn how the weather works, play with giant bubbles, and watch your kids test their strength in the challenge zones.

5. Pigeon Forge Snow

Ever wanted to go snow tubing in the middle of summer? Pigeon Forge Snow is an indoor snow park where the whole family can slide down snowy hills and play in real snow— no jackets required.

6. MagiQuest

MagiQuest is an interactive experience where kids can become wizards and wield magic wands to solve riddles and unlock secret chambers to hunt for treasures. It’s part scavenger hunt, part live-action game, and a total blast for kids.

7. Professor Hacker’s Lost Treasure Golf

Lost Treasure Golf turns normal putt-putt into a story-filled adventure. At this fun, explorer-themed course, kids take a mining train to the first hole and then putt their way through caves, waterfalls, and a lost temple. 

8. The Track 

If your kids have a need for speed, The Track is the place to be. This family fun park has multiple go-kart tracks, bumper boats, mini-golf, and an arcade. There’s even a kiddie area with smaller rides for younger visitors.

9. Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster

The Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster sends you winding through forested hills on a gravity-powered ride. You control the speed, so you can cruise down the track at a leisurely pace or go full speed for an adrenaline rush. Just be sure to check their website for rider requirements and safety rules before you go.

10. Toy Box Mini Golf

Toy Box Mini Golf is a place where adults will feel like kids again. This playful, toy-themed mini-golf course has oversized LEGOs, action figures, and other classic toys as obstacles. The theming is just as fun to witness as it is to play!

11. Outdoor Gravity Park

Ever wanted to roll down a hill in a giant inflatable ball à la hamster? Outdoor Gravity Park lets you do just that with their unique attraction known as “zorbing,” which lets kids and adults climb inside an 11-foot sphere and roll down a track.

12. Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud Show

Dinner shows are plentiful in Pigeon Forge, but you won’t want to miss Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud Show. Watch real lumberjacks compete in axe throwing, log rolling, and speed climbing before trying out some of the activities yourself at the adventure park.

13. Big Top Arcade

If the weather isn’t cooperating for outdoor fun, head to Big Top Arcade. It’s one of the best arcades in Pigeon Forge and has classic games, ticket redemption prizes, and a circus theme that makes it extra fun for kids.

14. Smoky Mountain Deer Farm & Exotic Petting Zoo

Get up close with deer, camels, zebras, and more at Smoky Mountain Deer Farm. Kids can even feed some of the animals or take a pony ride led by parents! If you’re looking for even more adventure, be sure to inquire about horseback riding. The Deer Farm Riding Sables cater to experienced and first-time riders ensuring a safe, fun trek through wooded trails.

15. Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies 

Well worth the short drive to Gatlinburg, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies features all of the fun an aquarium can have like an underwater tunnel with sharks, hands-on touch pools, and a penguin exhibit that kids will love. Plus, you’ll be close to other Ripley’s attractions in the area.

16. The Old Mill

Get a glimpse of Pigeon Forge history at The Old Mill, a historic site preserved and transformed into a shopping and dining destination. Here, kids can watch candy being made, enjoy homemade ice cream, and see a real working gristmill.

17. Pigeon Forge Gem Mine

Let your kids dig for treasure at Pigeon Forge Gem Mine! They’ll get a bucket of dirt, sift through it with running water, and uncover colorful gems they can take home. After mining, stop by the rock and fossil shop to learn more about their discoveries and even have stones cut and polished into keepsakes.
